“Luxury isn't what you spend. It's how you create, live, and feel in your space.
”From the Kitchen Table to The LUX Holmes Lifestyle
My journey in real estate didn't begin in a fancy office. It began at my kitchen table.
In the early days of my career, buyers and sellers would come to my home, sit around my kitchen table, and handle real estate transactions over coffee, tea, a Danish, or sometimes a good Southern meal. My clients weren't just doing business with me—they were experiencing my home.
I've always loved beautiful things, but I learned early that beautiful doesn't have to mean expensive. I could find something at Z Gallerie, JCPenney, HomeGoods, or even on the clearance rack and turn it into something that looked luxurious. Clients would literally walk through my home, admire pieces, and leave with decorating ideas for their own homes.
That creativity started long before real estate. In high school, I chose classes like woodworking, drafting, and home economics, which helped develop my love for building, design, and creating comfortable spaces.
Today, my style has evolved. I appreciate simplicity, decluttering, positive energy, and creating spaces that look beautiful, feel peaceful, and function well.
That journey became part of The LUX Holmes Lifestyle.
