  She Builds Holmes says it all – a construction company founded by female builder Tanisha Holmes. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate and new homes sales industry, Tanisha shifted her focus to home building in 2021.The company's vision is to construct tiny homes and affordable housing in her region, addressing the housing market's lack of affordability for many people. She Builds Holmes is dedicated to making a difference by establishing connections with local investors and developers to help bring this vision to life. The goal of She Builds Holmes is to positively impact people's lives through accessible housing solutions.  She Builds Holmes' mission is to build newly constructed homes, remodels, and future products like tiny homes. Tanisha Holmes has always had a passion for building, starting at a young age when she took drafting and woodworking classes in high school. In 2008, during the height of the mortgage bubble, she enrolled in a General Contractor course at Wake Tech. On the first day, the instructor assumed she was in the wrong class and told her that the "cosmetology course" was down the hall. She politely confirmed with him that this was indeed the General Contractor course, and when he replied yes, she firmly stated that she was in the right class. Many of her fellow students looked at her as if she didn't belong, but Tanisha was determined to pursue her passion for construction.
